Review: Benefit double the lip

Lip products are always exciting to me and Benefit are releasing a new whole set of their They are Real Double the Lip. Double excitement!

The concept is quite fun (as everything from Benefit) and it allows you to create a full enhanced pout in one go. I often don't even use a mirror when applying mine. The trick with these new lipsticks is that they come with two different colours, the lipstick and the liner. All in one stick. In an eye drop shape. Great idea!

The combination of colours in each duo is very well thought and complements one another. The darker part creates a bit of a deeper shade on the outside of the lips. An ombré effect that I very much like as it creates an optical effect of fuller lips.

Some shades are bit bolder and the difference of the two tones is too much for my liking. The perfect way to use these for me, is to mix both colours by gently patting with my finger. The resulting colour is lovely!

My favourite thing about these lipsticks is the formula. They are the creamiest I've ever tried. They really enhance the lips. The combination of formula and mixture of colours assure to give a very voluptuous pout. I love the effect on my lips!

My personal favourites are Lusty Rose, juicy Berry, and And here are the swatches! Which one is your favourite? Are you going to pick one up?

Review: Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with avocado

Avocado is not only trendy on your toast for breakfast, it also has great benefits for the skin. I have been using the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with avocado for more than a month now. After the party season and with the healthy habits regained, this is the perfect ally to keep the skin around the eyes hydrated and plumped.

It's the first eye cream that I properly use, and this one has an excellent texture. It gets absorbed really quick.
I enjoy the tightening effect and the juicy finish it leaves on the skin when I put it on. It also has a gripping effect for the make up I'll put on top of it, so it really helps the eye area to look better!

The avocado nourishes the skin like no other ingredient and within this formula, it doesn't get into the eyes. Another thing, is that it doesn't really smell of anything, which I find perfect for a product meant to be used around such a delicate area.

It comes in a little pot, and you only need a tiny amount each morning. It's always better to apply with your ring finger so you don't drag your skin.

All in all I've become a convert of this product and it will be in my favorites' drawer for a long time!
You can find yours at Kiehl's.com here for £22.50.

Beauty gift guide and giveaway for you all!

Time for giving back! I know it can be hard to choose something for the beauty lovers out there so I've chosen  the best gifts and beauty sets you can find on my predilect site for Betty online shopping: FeelUnique.com

Estée Lauder Envy Lips Gift Set. I had already tried a lipstick from the Envy Lips line and love it. From the texture to the colour payoff I love them. This set comes with four mini lipsticks (so cute!) with colours ranging from the bold red, bright pink, nude and even purple for a party night out.

Urban Decay Ultimate Basics palette. Yes! I wasn't counting on getting this one as I have many other eye shadows at the moment. But I realised I was using every matte colour in my other palettes, and this one is SO PRETTY!
The colours work perfectly between them allowing you to create complete looks, from the purple tones (perfect for enhancing green eyes), all the browns for the everyday look and even black. All the eye shadows are matte and the quality is supreme, as it usually happens with Urban Decay.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur perfector. It acts as a great make up retoucher for during the day. It can also be used as a primer as it hides pores and smoothes the skin.

Origins Skincare set. I really wanted to try out these products and the set is a fantastic value for money. It includes products from the line Original skin and GinZin. I have already tried the clay mask, and the serum and they work really well on my skin. Nothing miracoulous, but definitely noticeable. It includes a make up bag (that I started using straight away) and it all comes in a beautiful box that you can also keep should you like it.

REN Pore Perfecting Kit This set is a smaller one, but I love this skincare brand too and the products here are aimed at cleaning and diminishing the pores. The glycolic mask is another must that I had already used and really worth it to try as it helps with the renewal and general aspect of the skin.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. Make up tools are always a good idea for a present as you can never have too many. I've been hooked to the beauty blender lately, so I thought it would be great to have a second sponge to use daily. I love this one and don't see much of a difference in the application of make up compared to the beauty blender. A good investment!

And now the good news!
